Memorial Valor Foundation
Memorial Valor Foundation remembers and honors fallen Special Operations Forces members by standing with their Gold Star families, raising funds and resources to help those families rebuild their lives.
Why we chose them
Honoring the fallen is not a once-a-year gesture. Memorial Valor Foundation stays with Gold Star families long after the services end and the crowds go home. We wanted a beneficiary whose work continues year-round, because so does the loss.
Brighter Days Ministry
Brighter Days Ministry is a volunteer-driven ministry based in Hardwick, Georgia, coming alongside neighbors wherever they are with safe housing, clothing, and basic necessities — offered with dignity and without judgment.
Why we chose them
Hardship in Baldwin County rarely announces itself. Brighter Days meets neighbors where they are — a safe place to stay, clothes on their back, the basics to get through the week — with no waiting list and no red tape. That is exactly the kind of direct, local help our proceeds should become.
Meals on Wheels — Baldwin County
Part of the national Meals on Wheels network, the Baldwin County program delivers 25 to 30 nutritious meals Monday through Friday to homebound seniors, with meals prepared at Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin. Every delivery doubles as a check-in, addressing isolation alongside hunger.
Why we chose them
A hot meal Monday through Friday is also a daily check that someone is all right. For homebound seniors in Baldwin County, that knock on the door is often the only one they get — quiet, dependable work that runs on funding like this.
Circle of Love Center, Inc.
Circle of Love Center provides shelter, support, and resources to domestic-violence survivors and their children across Greene, Putnam, Morgan, Baldwin, and Hancock counties, offering both residential shelter and non-residential support programs.
Why we chose them
Leaving is the most dangerous moment in an abusive relationship. Circle of Love gives survivors and their children somewhere to go across five Middle Georgia counties — a roof that night, and support programs for the long road afterward.
